In 2003, whilst working as an Office Manager, I decided I was ready for a new professional challenge. With my children now all in school full-time I started studying for my bookkeeping qualification and offering financial services as a sole-trader. After falling in love with the profession, I decided to set up RS Office Services Ltd in November 2010. Nearly 12 years later, in July 2022, I made the decision to rebrand. Now employing 4 people, it felt less like my personal venture and decided the time was right to take my initials out of the limelight and change the business name to The Accounts Team Ltd.
I really enjoy analysing company performance and assisting with strategising for the future. With the various industries our clients cover, I have great experience evaluating business progress and forecasting future movements. I am genuinely always happy & positive, so like to think this benefits my fellow colleagues and clients!

I started my career in Finance in June 2013 with RS Office Services Ltd (The Accounts Team's former name), I have since worked in various finance roles in a number of sectors. This includes an Assistant Accountant position in a private school and a Financial Technician with the John Lewis Partnership. I returned back to RS Office Services in 2019 and with the knowledge & experience I gained in industry I was eager to bring these skills to their fantastic clients. It was a big decision to change the name of the business but with new path we are on, it was time to bite the bullet. It is a very exciting time for The Accounts Team and we are all looking forward to what is round the corner!
I am proficient in all aspects of bookkeeping, with particular enthusiasm for Payroll Services and Management Accounts. I love Excel and enjoy tailoring Finance Reports to meet our specific customer needs.

Working in finance is something I have always wanted to pursue as I loved maths while I was at school. I have worked in different HR and administration roles over the years but after becoming a mum in 2020 I decided it was time for a new challenge. As I have a problem solving mindset and a great attention to detail I instantly knew that this is what I wanted to do after a taster day with RS Office Services. Its been very exciting to be part of the rebrand and name change to The Accounts Team Ltd. I am really looking forward to the future of our business!
I absolutely love using Xero and I am certified advisor. I have also just finished my ICB Level 2 certificate in bookkeeping which took a year of hard work in the evenings fitting around work and family life. I am so happy to have completed this and I am very proud of myself!
It's a privilege to work with such a great team who all genuinely love bookkeeping and helping to make the lives of our customers easier.
